The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking, one of the best I've ever seen. The spacious room had a fridge which was convenient. The staff was accommodating and resolved any issues quickly.
The breakfast options were quite limited and not suitable for specific dietary requirements. The chairs on the patio were uncomfortable, almost like torture chairs.

Amazing views and beautiful rooms with large balconies. Close proximity to the waterfalls and Montezuma.
Uncomfortable chairs on the patio and basic pool furniture. Limited breakfast options and no choice for those who don't want rice and beans.

The hotel is nestled in a quiet area, surrounded by lush jungle, giving it a peaceful and serene atmosphere. the rooms were clean and spacious, exceeding my expectations. I also enjoyed the fact that the staff gave helpful advice without pressuring me to book any tours, allowing me to explore at my own pace.
That there were limited dining options within walking distance, requiring a trip to the town for lunch or dinner. the lighting at the hotel was overly bright, diminishing the opportunity to appreciate the stunning night sky.

The view of the ocean from the balcony was breathtaking. Being surrounded by nature was a refreshing experience. The hanging bridge added a touch of adventure to the stay. Being close to the waterfalls was convenient for exploring.
The breakfast was bland and could use more flavor. The ongoing renovations around the pool created a noisy and chaotic atmosphere.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel nestled at the top of a hill. The breathtaking views of the ocean from our balcony were absolutely stunning. The room was clean and spacious, and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony to watch the sunrise over the ocean. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast served on the small terrace was tasty and fresh, and we loved the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. The hanging bridge that provided access to town was a unique feature, and we even got to hear the howler monkeys. The small plunge pool was a great place to relax and take in the ocean views. Despite the minor drawbacks of a steep hill and difficulty in finding taxis, we highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing views and wildlife! We saw monkeys, iguanas, and even a family of Coatis right outside our room. The sunrise views were breathtaking, and we enjoyed watching the monkeys cross the suspension bridge. The location was perfect for those who want to be off the beaten path, with stunning views of the bay. The breakfast, although simple, was served on the patio by the pool and was a great way to start the day. Everything was very clean, and the staff we encountered were pleasant.
There were a few maintenance issues that could be improved, such as broken tiles on the stairs and fraying edges on the furniture. The pool could also use some better quality furniture.

We really got great value for our money at Sunshine Sanctuary. The room was fantastic with stunning views of the jungle and ocean. The staff treated us like family, Brian even arranged for dinner delivery and helped us organize a private boat trip to Tortuga Island.
The breakfast offerings could have been better with more variety and options.
